The other day I was driving home from work, and stumbled across a sign for
business that read "That New Place" on North Turnpike in Wallingford. Curious to
know what exactly "That New Place" was, I looked it up and found out that it was
a restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and recently added dinner to the menu
with BYOB. After reading a few reviews for the restaurant, I decided I'd give it
a try the next time I was feeling adventurous and wanted to steer clear of my
normal cereal and orange juice.
As I walked into the restaurant, fresh and clean decor caught my eye. The
seating area itself was quaint and cute, and I was warmly greeted at the front
door, and was seated very promptly. The service was on point, and I could tell
the second I walked in.
After going through the entire menu and weighing my options, I went with a
simple breakfast sandwich. The sandwich came with not one, but two eggs, was on
a hard roll which was toasted and buttered, two slices of bacon, and some very
gooey cheese - needless to say, it was absolutely delicious.
The prices at "That New Place" are super reasonable, and the wide array of menu
options makes the possibilites endless. They also offer egg beaters and egg
whites to the health concious.
I would reccomend "That New Place" in Wallingford to anyone who is interested in
good breakfast, good service, and a good price. Check them out at
ThatNewPlaceRestaurant.com and enjoy!
